A celebration of the intersection between performance wear and artistic design. To launch the The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen collection, we designed and executed an unforgettable evening, honouring the incredible women shaping this collaboration and pushing the boundaries of what exploration looks like when combined with artistry, femininity, and resilience.
Guests were welcomed into the basement of The North Face’s Regent Street store, transformed into a space that embodied Elegant Exploration. The atmosphere was set with sounds curated by DJ GHADIR, guiding the evening’s flow as canapés and bespoke cocktails were served.
Each guest received a gift that spoke directly to the essence of the collection: a floral shaped press release, embedded with wildflower seeds, a subtle nod to Cecilie Bahnsen’s signature floral motifs, and a limited-edition North Face steel mug with a carabiner handle, topped with a floral stem.
The heart of the evening centred around an intimate panel talk, moderated by Lea Ogunlami, where our three panellists shared their stories, perfectly capturing the spirit of this collaboration.
Solenne Piret, world-class climber and future Paralympic contender, spoke on her journey of strength and pushing limits.
Molly Thompson Smith, the first British woman to win a medal in the Lead World Cup, discussed her experiences of performance and personal growth.
Cleo Cardenas-Barr, Product Merchandising Manager at The North Face, revealed the design process behind the product, showcasing how the brand’s heritage fused seamlessly with Cecilie’s delicate, cloud-like silhouettes.
Together, the panellists explored themes of femininity, the power of vulnerability, and how exploration fosters personal growth. Naturally flowing into a Q&A session, guests engaged with the panellists on a deeper level before the panel ended and the space shifted, with DJ GHADIR setting the tone for the rest of the evening.
Guests mingled and explored the collection while enjoying a bespoke monochrome menu by CATER London, with food served on silver trays and cocktails including The North Face and The Bahnsen, crafted to reflect the outdoorsy yet refined essence of the collection.
The event wasn’t just about launching a collection; it was about celebrating the women behind it, honouring the fusion of adventure and artistry, and creating a night that left everyone feeling inspired and connected. From the intimate panel to the immersive environment, we delivered a truly special experience that captured the spirit of The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen.
