Across 20 UK stores, we helped Meta reimagine the retail floor as a live demonstration of wearable AI, turning curiosity into interaction, and interaction into belief.

In partnership with Meta, we developed a scalable in-store experience for Currys to introduce AI glasses to a mainstream audience. Rolling out across 20 locations, the pop-up needed to stand out within a busy retail environment while making an emerging technology feel intuitive, social, and relevant.

Designed as a front-of-store moment, the space invited shoppers to step out of passive browsing and into active exploration, bridging the gap between awareness and hands-on experience.

We grounded the experience in Meta’s “Raw Craft” ethos, building it around three core pillars: Spark. Explore. Share. The aim was to guide users from intrigue to understanding to self-expression, fostering openness and connection. We also sought to balance innovation with authenticity, combining precise detailing with warm, tactile materials to make the future feel tangible.

Rather than a traditional retail layout, we introduced a central circular formation, creating a natural gathering point and encouraging interaction. A multifunctional demo table offered a clear surface for hands-on engagement, while tall timber totems framed the space as both beacons and functional displays. Hidden storage kept the environment seamless and uncluttered. Meanwhile, a refined palette of timber veneer, stainless steel, and Meta blue accents balanced warmth and precision, with clean lighting amplifying visibility and curved floor decals guiding movement.

We designed the experience to shift perception, moving AI glasses from a niche, tech-led product into a social, style-led accessory. The space positioned wearable AI within everyday life rather than future speculation, encouraging natural interaction, conversation, and sharing. Language cues like “Hey Meta” became part of the experience and transformed functionality into a cultural gesture, reinforcing the product’s role within daily moments.

Translating complex technology into a human, social experience is no easy feat, but our activation for Meta reframed how wearable AI is discovered on the high street. It created a new kind of retail moment that invites people to step into the future, not just see it form a distance.
